Simultaneously, the number of active fire spots in West Kalimantan climbed to 104, forcing visibility to plummet below one kilometre in affected areas, creating hazardous conditions for residents and emergency responders alike.

Approximately 80 per cent of these firms have subsequently reported achieving adequate operational readiness, indicating substantial progress in building institutional capacity throughout the private sector.
