AUKU 1971 Repeal Marks Major Education Reform, Says Deputy Minister
Malaysia's government will repeal the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971, granting students greater freedom and democratic space. Deputy Higher Education Minister Adam Adli called the decision a recognition of decades of student activism.
