A 29-year-old Singapore Armed Forces medic has been sentenced to seven years in jail for defrauding his adoptive father and others of nearly S$1.9 million to sustain a gambling habit, with over S$1.6 million extracted through loans, credit cards, and unauthorised CPF transfers.
