India Launches First Hydrogen-Powered Train, Joining Global Clean Rail Movement
India has launched its first hydrogen-powered train on the Jind-Sonipat route in Haryana, using indigenously developed fuel cell technology. The development positions India alongside China, Germany, Japan and the US in operating zero-emission rail transport.
