Pakistan Court Convicts Man of Marital Rape, Sentences Him to 10 Years
A special anti-rape court in Islamabad has convicted Muhammad Farooq of marital rape and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment. The victim, whose father filed the complaint, was awarded Rs300,000 compensation.
