Malaysia Keeps Civil Service Retirement Age at 60, Makes PERKESO Contribution Voluntary
The Malaysian government has decided to maintain the mandatory retirement age for civil servants at 60, rejecting proposals for an increase. The Cabinet also made contributions to PERKESO's non-work injury scheme voluntary.
