TAR UMT faces financial strain as government slashes tax exemption from decade to three years
The Finance Ministry has drastically reduced a promised tax exemption for Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology from 10 years to three, imposing restrictive conditions that could force the institution to raise costs for students from lower-income backgrounds.
