Perak Regulator Shuts Down Palm Oil Mill Over Sungai Sepetang Pollution Crisis
Perak's Department of Environment has ordered a palm oil mill near Taiping to cease operations after a fractured retention pond released contaminated sludge into Sungai Sepetang, killing fish stocks and damaging local livelihoods.
