Malaysia Advances Witness Protection Bill with Enhanced Safeguards and Support
Parliament has received the Witness Protection (Amendment) Bill 2026, which strengthens protections for vulnerable witnesses, introduces psychological support services, and allows guardians to enrol dependants lacking legal capacity.
