Cabinet Approves Road Safety Reforms with Court-Ordered Compensation for Accident Victims
Malaysia's Cabinet has approved in-principle amendments to the Road Transport Act 1987 that would allow courts to order road offenders to pay compensation to accident victims and their families as an additional penalty alongside existing sentences.
