Seoul and South Korean Cities Swelter as Temperatures Exceed 40°C
South Korea's capital Seoul recorded 40.2°C on Friday, the first time since 2018, as an intense heat wave grips the nation. Two other cities also exceeded 40°C, with authorities downgrading warnings slightly for the weekend.
