ASEAN+3 Must Deepen AI, Energy and Payment Integration to Counter Dollar Dominance
The ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office warns that AI is reinforcing US dollar dependence across the region. Regional economies must accelerate integration of artificial intelligence, energy infrastructure and digital payments to strengthen competitiveness and reduce financial vulnerability.
