KWAN Amendment Law Closes Withdrawal Loophole Following RM5 Billion Incident
Parliament has passed amendments to the Kumpulan Wang Amanah Negara Act that prevent future large withdrawals without explicit Dewan Rakyat approval, closing loopholes exposed by a RM5 billion withdrawal in 2021.
