Laotian authorities have indicted the owner of Tiger Vodka distillery and staff at Nana Backpackers Hostel following the deaths of six foreign tourists in Vangvieng in late 2024. Police found dangerous methanol levels but face legal barriers to conclusively establishing cause of death.
